The chalet is on Drumul Carului, in the commune of Moieciu, between the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains. From here you reach the main sights of the Rucăr-Bran corridor by car in under an hour, and in the evening you come back to the warm pool. Distances below are by car in normal conditions.

Winter
Skiing in Poiana Brașov 30 minutes away, or on the small slopes in Bran and Fundata for children. Cross-country skiing and sledging at Cheile Grădiștei. In the afternoon, the pool at 36 °C with snow all around.
Summer
Hiking in Piatra Craiului (Prăpastiile Zărneștilor, an easy 2-hour trail, or the ridge for experienced hikers), cycling on the roads between the villages, paragliding from Fundata, horse riding around Bran. In the evenings, barbecue on the terrace.
Where to eat
In Moieciu and Bran there are restaurants with Romanian cuisine 5 to 10 minutes from the chalet; the nearest is a 5-minute walk. Most deliver to the chalet. You receive our list of recommendations and phone numbers at check-in.
